How to Farm in Mischief County RP
Farming is a great way to produce crops, gather ingredients for crafting, and create a sustainable source of income. Whether you own a property or are living off the land, this guide will help you get started with farming in Mischief County RP.
Where Can You Farm?
Farming can be done on any property, but owning land is not required.
- Use your own property if you own one.
- Find a suitable location in the woods.
- Set up a small farm in the desert.
- Any open area can be used as long as you can stay nearby while crops grow.
Note: Crops take approximately 15 minutes to mature without fertilizer.
Understanding Crops
Not every crop can be eaten immediately after harvesting.
Some crops can be consumed directly, while others must be used in crafting recipes first.

What You’ll Need

About Fertilizer
Fertilizer can be purchased from the Farmers Market but is completely optional.
- Fertilizer is not required to grow crops.
- Fertilizer does not increase crop yield.
- Fertilizer only reduces growth time.
- Higher grades of fertilizer provide faster growth rates.
Before purchasing fertilizer, consider whether saving a few minutes is worth the additional expense.
Planting Your Crops
- Make sure you have a Hoe, at least one Bucket filled with water, and Seeds in your inventory.
- Travel to your chosen farming location.
- Open your inventory.
- Double-click the seed packet you wish to plant.
- Your character will begin preparing the soil.
- Choose whether or not to use fertilizer.
- If you choose not to use fertilizer, hold C until the planting animation completes.
- When prompted, water the crop by holding B.
- Wait for the crop to mature.
Crop Yield
Each seed packet produces a single plant.
Each mature plant yields:
- 1 Seed Packet = 1 Plant
- 1 Plant = 5 Harvested Items
Harvesting Crops
Once your crops have matured, you can harvest them for their yield.
Be careful during harvest!
The farming menu includes a Destroy option.
- Harvest = Collect your crops.
- Destroy = Remove and kill the plant permanently.
Always double-check your selection before confirming.
Pro Tip: Farming During Rain
Rain can significantly speed up the planting process.
When it’s raining, you can skip the manual watering step, allowing you to plant crops much faster.
